RSVP, capacity and waitlists
Reserve a spot, bring guests, and what happens when a gathering is full.
- 1Choose RSVP on any meetup or event card.
- 2Confirm your details and how many are coming.
- 3Submit — you will see your spot confirmed on the card.
When a gathering has a limit and it fills up, extra RSVPs join a waitlist and move up automatically as spots free. Some events have a cut-off after which RSVPs close.
For events with RSVP turned on, the notification itself carries an RSVP button so you can respond without hunting for the page.
