Admin Guide
Admin: announcements and reminder timing
What sends a notification, and how to set advance reminders.
What sends a notification
- Publishing an event or meetup announces it once
- A shared prayer request notifies members who opted in
- Marking a request prayed for notifies the person who asked
- Chat messages and mentions notify the people involved
Reminders
In Site Content → Reminders, choose the lead times — commonly a day before and again an hour before. Members who have reminders switched on receive them in the app and as a push notification.
Each reminder is only ever sent once per event, so re-saving settings will not spam anyone.
