Chat basics
Start a direct message, a group chat, or join a space.
- 1Open Chat from the member menu.
- 2Tap the + button to start a new conversation.
- 3Pick one person for a direct message, or several for a group.
- 4Choose Browse Spaces to find and join a wider conversation.
Messages arrive live. Unread counts appear beside each conversation and on the chat icon. On a phone the conversation fills the screen, and the floating menu and + button stay available on the list, mentions, meetings and search screens.
