Why you get signed out
Sessions end after 30 minutes without activity, including in the installed app.
After 30 minutes with no tapping, typing or scrolling you are signed out and returned to the sign-in screen with a short note explaining why.
The installed app works the same way. Phones pause apps in the background, so the timer is re-checked the moment you reopen it — a long stretch away will sign you out.
